Welcome to our website, operated by Jet Age Museum (“we,” “our,” or “us”), a company registered in the United Kingdom. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Website.

The Gloucestershire Aviation Collection (working name Jet Age Museum) is a Registered Charity No: 297818 and a Company Limited by Guarantee No: 2141333.

3. Membership and Payment Terms

a. Membership Subscription

By becoming a member, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information outlined on our Membership page, which includes our Membership Terms of Reference / Terms and Conditions.

b. Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers. We do not store your payment information. By using our services, you consent to us charging your chosen payment method.

c. Cancellations and Refunds

If you have made a purchase in error and wish to cancel or request a refund, please contact us. We are a donation based company and refunds are issued at the sole discretion of our staff. Each request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, considering all relevant circumstances

d. Automatic Renewal

Your membership will automatically renew unless cancelled.

4. User Responsibilities

a. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

b. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Website for any unlawful purposes or in breach of any applicable UK laws.
  • Misuse the contact forms for unsolicited marketing.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

Group Terms and Conditions

Private Group Visits:

  • Private Group visits can only be arranged for Tuesday or Thursday
  • A minimum of 6 weeks’ notice is compulsory for any requested visit
  • The Museum is only open for private visits between 10:00 and 21:00 hours
  • The visit is a maximum of 2 hours and must be completed within the opening times
  • The maximum number of people for a visit is ideally 20, with an absolute maximum of 25. (number excludes
    adults escorting group under aged 18)

Booking a Group Visit:

  • No bookings will be taken over the telephone
  • The Group Booking Request Form must be completed for every visit
  • The Request Form should be completed and submitted directly from the website
  • Within 7 days of submitting your request, you will receive an acknowledgement by email, confirming whether your requested date is provisionally
    available.
  • The date will remain a  provisional booking until availability of the volunteer team can be confirmed.  The booking will then be confirmed by email.

Cancellation:

  • While we will make every effort to accommodate group visits, the Museum reserves the right to withdraw the booking in the event that sufficient volunteers are not available for the chosen date.
  • In all cases a final booking confirmation will be communicated to you no later than 14 days before the requested booking date

Catering:

  • Any catering requests must be booked in advance and paid to the Museum Host before the end of the visit.
  • All normal forms of payment are accepted by the Museum
  • Donations: Please be aware that the Museum will be opened specially for your group visit. We rely on donations to cover our running costs and to help fund our expansion plans. The typical donation is £5 per head for adult groups and £3 per head for
    school/youth groups

Shop Purchases and Donations:

  • All purchases made from the Museum Shop and all donations must be handed to the Museum Host before the
    end of the visit

Special Requests:

The Museum will strive to honour any special requests; however, this may not be possible in all cases.
